    Guess I Should...

    ... re-introduce myself!

    I am a mommy to a wonderful little boy and an awesome Furkid. Our furkid is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is a great family dog!

    My husband is a PGY1 in a Surgical residency at UofL.

    I participate in the UofL Spouses Auxillary Group and love to have playdates with the fellow mommies at UofL. I mostly surround myself with the other medical and dental spouses in our area because they understand our situtation.

    We moved from Columbus, Ohio. I lived there for 20 years! I miss everything about my Buckeyes - and the shopping, oh the shopping!

    I can't wait to explore Louisville and get to know other spouses both on here and in my city!

            So far, it's pretty good. Nothing like Columbus... Columbus is amazing! But then again, I am a huge fan of shopping and eating out... so Columbus is great for that. Louisville, not so much.

            If you are an out-doorsy kind of person... it's pretty great. We live right down the street from a major state park.

            The east side is where you want to be (location wise) if you are thinking of moving here. Some great neighborhoods are Norton Commons and Springhurst... and Oldham County is spectacular! The houses are beautiful and there is tons of rolling hills!

                  For some reason my old one wasn't working properly - and since I didn't have that large of a post count anyways - I just got a new one.

                  Anywhos... I finally figured out the other one and just deleted it... so now all I have is this one.

                      Welcome! My DH did 7 years in surgical residency...4 for general surgery, then a 3-year peds urology fellowship. I hope the years go by fast for you. What area of surgery is your DH in?
