having trouble changing avatar

I can't get my avatar to work. I put in the URL and it doesn't show up. What am I doing wrong? In the meantime, it deleted my old avatar. Thaks.

This was the problem I was having too, you just have to type in 140 X 140 size in the boxes under the link box, and you have to have the link in as well. The voila! The combination of the two makes the avatar show up.

I couldn't get anything to load last night - but when I get home tonight perhaps I will try adding those numbers in to see if it will work?

Try hosting your image on photobucket.com and pasting the URL into the "Link off-site" entry box.

Yours is too big, you can use Photobucket to resize it. It needs to be no more than 140 pixels on the longest dimension.

No, wait, you also used the wrong URL to link it. Use the "Direct Link" URL that's underneath the picture on the main photo album page.
