I just discovered this website and thought I'd say hi! It's really comforting to see that there are people out there as anxious for Match Day as I am. I live with my boyfriend of 4+ years and most of his med school friends don't have significant others, so I don't really know many people in my position. My job is not at all related to the sciences, so every step of the medical training process is completely new to me unless it got a shout-out on Scrubs or Grey's Anatomy.
On Thursday we'll find out where he's doing his transitional year and PM&R residency and the possibilities are spread pretty much all over the country. I've always lived in the Maryland suburbs of D.C. and I'm excited to live somewhere else for a few years, but the suspense is killing me!
I know a lot about the D.C./Baltimore area, so if anyone has questions about living here, feel free to ask. Good luck to everyone else who's counting down to Thursday!
