    Hi All,

I'm new to this site, but hoping to form some connections with other spouses in my situation. My husband and I got married the summer before MS I and he is now a new MS III with his first rotation in neurology. This year is a big change for us compared to the last couple of years. Even though neurology has been a fairly chill rotation compared to others that we've heard stories of, he is gone a lot more and is a lot busier that he was last year and the year before. I'm beginning to realize that these next few years could get lonely. We don't live near any family and I don't have many friends here, so I just thought it would be nice to connect with people in the same situation and see how they cope. Anyways, look forward to getting acquainted with you all!

Welcome - I found this board about a year ago when my husband was an MS4. It has been a godsend for me.

          Hi Nicole!

I just joined last month. My husband is an intern, so I was in your shoes not that long ago. Welcome to site, it's been so helpful and comforting for me!

            Hi Nicole,

Welcome! We're in the exact same spot. My fiance just started MSIII, he drew psych first but he starts neuro in about 2 weeks. Psych has been very easy so far but I'm not looking forward to the rest of MSIII.

You'll find a lot of support here!

Well, a little more about me ... I graduated with my Bachelors in Business Administration in 2007. I got a job working in the records office of the school my husband attends. It's certainly not a dream job, but it pays the bills and it's nice to both be in the same place so we can meet up for lunch and whatnot. My biggest dream is just to be a SAHM, so I don't really have a ton of career goals and aspirations, but am more biding my time until we start a family and I can afford to stay home. We have a yorkie, Shelby, who is spoiled rotten. Other than that, not a lot goes on in everyday life. With my hubby getting more and more busy, I'm determined to get involved in something or develop a new hobby.

Welcome! So glad you found this site - we look forward to getting to know you. I was also a business major (MIS, though), and looking forward to being a SAHM someday (no kids yet). Good luck with 3rd year. That was our most difficult so far, but some people love it. It is kind of fun to see them dressing up in their white coats every day.
