Hi! Welcome!! So glad you found us. We have a few from Ireland here. While visiting there summer before last, I got to meet MrsB2B...although she recently got married. Maybe she'll get a new name.

    Where are you in Ireland?
Finally - we are finished with training! Hello real world!!

            Hi Lailah! Welcome!
We were in Ireland for med school. I miss it there, especially the wesht! I worked in Galway a lot.
Hope this site is useful to you, even though the systems are different. The long hours are why most of us are here!

Welcome! Looking forward to getting to know you. Ireland is one of those places I just HAVE to go someday. I've always thought it would be an amazing place to see.

Welcome!! The systems may be different but the long hours are definitely something we all have in common.

I'm from Ireland, met my husband when he was in med school there. Now we're living in the U.S and he's finishing up training.

Welcome! I am new here too, but being a member of this community has helped me already! Just having other people in the same boat to talk to is reassuring. I am getting married to a 4th year med student soon, and I didn't know if it was possible to sustain a marriage when he'd be working so much! But there seem to be happily married people here, and they give tips on how to cope with the long hours, disappointments, etc.
