  • Hi All

I found this site off a thread from the SDN forums and I have to say this is a wonderful idea! Just thought I'd introduce myself. My husband is starting medical school this year. He is a non traditional student (we're both 29 yrs old) being as he worked in another health care field before deciding to go back to school and try for medical school. We've been married for almost 5 years and it's been wonderful. I knew the road would be tough for us, my mother was also a non trad medical student who has always had a crazy schedule. Her and my dad are a great inspiration for me and my husband as they made it through and have been married for over 35 years. I will be working full time while he's in med school so I know our schedules will be tough and I'll probably be acquiring a lot of new hobbies . Anyways, I am so glad to have found this site because I really like the idea of being able to connect with people who understand and are either currently going through the process or who have been through it already.

Hello! I am relatively new also--my fiance (we are getting married in June) will be starting med school in the fall as well.

              I see you're from Texas--that's where we're going!
