    Hi all!
I am so excited to have found this message board!
My husband, of 6 years, is currently starting his third year of med school. He is on his first clinical rotation right now (psych... not bad! ) He is most interested in pursuing Emergency Medicine... we will see if that sticks after doing his rotations. I am sure I will have lots of questions as we get closer to applying for residency!
We have 2 daughters. "M" is 3, and "C" is 1. Having kids so early in this journey seems to be quite a unique experience, but one that we have definitely found fulfilling.
Can't wait to get to know you better and become a part of this board!

Welcome!! DH is a MS4 trying to match into Rads. This site is wonderful!! There are a few medical spouse who already have kids, so I am sure they understand the uniqueness!

Welcome! We had our daughters during the first two years of med school (grad school came next, then med school years 3 & 4). It is definitely unconventional but not impossible. DH enjoyed having his little girls to take his mind off his studies. And medical textbooks are boring enough to put little ones to sleep when daddy reads out loud.

Welcome! My husbands first MS3 rotation was also psych! (Yeah, I can remember that, but not what I walk into the kitchen for some days. I want that brain cell back!) Anyway, so glad you're here, and I hope you post often. This is a great site, and you'll be so happy to be with people who get what you're feeling!

Welcome! DH is entering his MS2 and we have just had our first child (she is almost 3 months). We're with you on the med school kids path (we agree - very fulfilling). Looking forward to getting to know you better!

DH is an MS4 and we have 2 DD's so I can relate to having kiddos during med school.

Totally understand. My hubby is a MS3 as well, and we have one little girl and another little girl on the way. It is challenging but definitely rewarding. He loves being a daddy!
