  • Hi I'm new!

    Hello!
My name is Laura, my husband is a 4th year medical student. I am really excited to be a part of this website, there is so much need for support for medical spouses and families! We don't have any children as of yet, but I will be asking soon about advice about when to start a family! My husband is going into Peds, and is currently starting his residency application process (Scary!) I am currently a grad student working on an MA in Hispanic Literature, and hopefully I'll be done next May when my hubby finishes med school! I look forward to meeting all of you!

Hi Laura! Glad you found us!! My DH also did peds so we may have information on some of the programs you will be considering. We love taking mini vacations in NM - maybe we can meet up some time when we are doing our Trader Joe runs in ABQ or Santa Fe.
Finally - we are finished with training! Hello real world!!

Welcome! Another peds spouse here. But my hubby didn't do many interviews (4 -- 3 of them were in Texas).

Welcome! Another peds spouse here, we applied to lots of East Coast programs. I think between myself, oceanchild, medpedspouse and v-girl, we may have most of the peds programs covered. Stick around - ask questions and post often!
