Hi everyone!!

I’m not sure if you are working, but is there any way you could take a semester online and be on the island? I remember one of the other spouses (back when I was in the Caribbean) that was working on a master’s degree and lived on the island.

Most of my coursework is online, and I would drop everything in a heartbeat and move to Grenada, which David really wants too, but my situation is complicated a bit because I have a 4 year old son, Ben, from a previous marriage, and my son's dad has major issues with me moving out of the country with him (understandably so). It'll be easier once David is back in the States for clinicals, as my son's dad is more open to a domestic move, and David may have some options open to do rotations locally. In the meantime, I am saving money for all my Grenada vacations!

What island were you on? Did you have issues getting permission to work?
