I'm sorry, what an awful situation.

I don't know if this will amount to anything, but DH just told me last night that it looks as if one of the urology residents here *might* be leaving the program due to personal reasons. He's currently a PGY3, I don't remember what year you said your DH is in ... PM me if you want more details.
