    Hi everyone!

    Hi there,
    I recently signed up for this site, and just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Laura. I am Canadian (although I have both Canadian and American citizenship), and I live in Canada with my husband (who is a PGY 3 in radiology), and our black labrador retriever. I am a mental health social worker. I was so excited to find this website, and look forward to getting to know other people who are in the same boat. We had to move across the country for residency, and will be moving again (possibly to the U.S.) for fellowship and beyond. The nomadic lifestyle can really take its toll, and I'm glad to read posts from others who can relate.

                          Welcome Laura!! My DH is Canadian but we had to move away from Canada for the medical journey. Currently doing residency in the US and trying to navigate the red tape to move back post-training!
