  • Hi from Long Island!

Hi! I'm Drew and my husband is a PGY-1 (almost PGY-2!) EM resident in NY.

We live on Long Island and moved here from Louisiana.
Culture shock doesn't even begin to explain our first year here...

So glad to to find this resource and look forward to making connections!

I'm learning to love NY, there are definitely great things about the city and everything it has to offer. That being said, it's taken me almost a year to get on my feet which I did not anticipate at all!

What? Louisiana and New York have different cultures? Get out!

In all seriousness, welcome to the board.
