        Hi everyone,

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. Had a meltdown yesterday on hubby when he got home (at 8:30). Probably why I was looking for a site like this. Just overwhelming week. Hubby was supportive and understanding.
What do I do to fill my days? I am a peds nurse practitioner 1 day a week just to keep my license up and stay active in the field. It's a perfect gig for a new mom. The rest of the time I do different things with my son. We do swim lessons, mommy and me, playdates, etc. We didn't have to move for residency, Thank God. My hubby is from Ft.Lauderdale so we have his parents to help with the baby (MIL watched baby on the day I work). I realize some of you don't have any family around because of residency locations, so I am extremely thankful for that. I do fine if hubby gets home from the hospital before son's bedtime but any mom's out there know how hard the evening is with a young child. They def. sundown at night and my reserves are low too.
Any advice from more senior resident wives on how to handle the stress is welcome. Also can someone explain these forums to me, I am used to seeing all different threads, but lots boards only have like 3-4 threads with like 500 posts each, its weird. Why is that?
        Alright thanks again!

The forums are set up in categories, so you kind of "drill down" to the actual threads. All the reply posts will appear on pages once you get to the thread level. It's a nice way to keep us organized.
