  • Hello from Tulsa

Well today is my Wife’s first day of School. Technically this week is just orientation and the real schooling doesn’t start until next week but hye, she's gone all day and night none the less! Just wanted to say hi and if anyone gets bored e-mail me! Keenercl@yahoo.com

    Peace,
    Craig

    Craig,
Welcome to the sight, there aren't as many males on here but I'm sure you'll find it as a great resource. I wish I had it when my husband was a new student.

    Good luck!

      thanks!

Thanks! I posted over at Mr. MD and that forum doesn't look too active!! I work full time and still have another year and a half to complete my Masters so I am hoping I will stay busy too! From reading other posts I think I may be in denial, I don't see what is going to be so hard about her going to Med. School. I guess that comes from a combination of us not having kids and me just being naive, it will probably be very hard. Any input from others in a similar situation?

      Peace,
      Craig

Welcome Craig! You have found a great place to interact with many spouses going through every aspect of the medical journey.

Where is your wife doing here schooling, OU or OSU? My wife graduated from OSU-COM in 2000 and we are now in Kansas City. I am a SAHD with two boys, so I am around here some...when I am not trying to paint my house!

She is going to OSU, it's very cool to know there is another guy out there! So how were the first few years?

Welcome Craig. Looks like you and I are in the same boat. My husband just got through his first week as well. Let the fun begin! Nice to meet you.

Craig, you're gonna be fine. I'm kinda of in the same boat with working full-time and having an so in medical school. Between your job and school you'll both be so busy. Just be sure to take some time out together often and it'll all be fine. If that means learing biochem on a walk around the neighborhood, so be it!

We moved in together during his first year... just before finals. If we survived so can you -- you're at least already used to having each other around all the time!
