  • Hi everyone

    Hi everyone,

I am a doctors wife from Ohio. Currently he is working in Florida. Its a long story and Im sure I'll tell you all about it when I become more familiar with the site and the people.

My husband is a foreign medical graduate from Syria. I am an American. We met online and chatted for about 3 years before I flew there to meet him in person. Eight months later I went back and we married. So we had to go thought the immigration nightmare and when he got here he couldn't get into a residency so he wanted to go back.

I convinced him to stay...Two years later and after a lot of begging to the medical director he hired him.

He finally finished and moved to Florida because he didn't qualify for the requirements for licencing in Ohio. I will follow him there some day.

    Well thats enough for now.

Yes we have lived apart a lot since being married. Our first year of marriage was apart also due to immigration. He got here right before our 1st anniversary. Now here we are apart for the last 2 years.

Welcome! That does sound really tough. I hope the next couple years pass quickly for you and you don't have any more time apart after that!
