Welcome back, I think I might remember you!!

Auspicious- Yep, he's HPSP. He owes 3 years on his current contract. (Which also means he didn't get the scholarship until MSII and therefore we have $40K in med school debt from his first year! Blech!) They weren't offering any fellowships next year that he's interested in, so he'll be staff for at least a year and then think about fellowship after that. Not sure yet if he'll opt to do a fellowship through the military or after he separates. Thankfully, he's been assigned back to the same hospital/base for next year, so no upcoming PCS for us! Yay! You guys also military?

Nope we are not. He was a reservist for a number of years and that's how he paid for undergrad. The HPSP was his original plan for med school, but we didn't end up doing it.
