This is amazing... How do I go about posting? Do I make a new thread every time? And is there a list of the abbreviated words anywhere? Lol

You should probably make a new thread if you are starting on a new topic. If you are answering someone or adding to someone else's topic, you can post in that thread.

I remember we had a running list on one old thread somewhere... but that was a while ago.. If in doubt, just ask.

I'm originally from California and been married only 3 months and already had to move out here to Arizona where my husband got accepted to medical school. We have no kids and I decided to research what i'm in for with his new career and found this site which i kept reading everyone recommended...SO even though I have never been part of a forum or network. I look forward to being a part of something where I won't feel alone
YES YES YES YES YES! We need more med student spouses around here...wahoo! I found this site before med school began/before we got married and it has been wonderful. If it tells you anything, one member here now watches my daughter a few days a week while I work and I consider her and few others real-life friends--we get together often.
Married to a newly minted Pediatric Rad, momma to a sweet girl and a bunch of (mostly) cute boy monsters.

Several of us are friends IRL. It's a great group of peeps who TOTALLY get the inherent weirdness and specialized bullshit that comes with the medical mistress.

We all get it. I'm not even married to a doctor (who has since left medicine) anymore. But I there are a couple of members of this site whom I count amongst my dearest friends and confidants.
