  • Hello!

I found this site while trying to avoid lying down. I am 34 weeks pregnant with number two, and have a two year old. My husband is just about finished his second year of medical school. Prior to med school he served twelve years in the military. In the five years since we married he started and completed an honours degree in Immunology and Infection, got accepted into all three medical schools he applied to on the first try, and is about to start his clerkship in June. We live in Canada, so it's a bit different I think, but I'm interested in getting to know a few people who have missed their spouses as much as I have. I work as a behavioural counselor in a women's correctional facility when I'm not about to explode with babies. We are not close to family and I spend a lot of time with my little one and with friends. How do I survive what comes next? LOL...

with 1 kid and one newborn, it'll be months before you have time to reflect about life. my opinion is not to think about it.
