      Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

      metroguy - that's a good tip! He's contacted a few other students with families to get some advice on how to balance school/family life and they've all said "time management and efficiency" are the most important things. We've also got a dear friend who is an MS2 at the same school who will be able to give study advice specific to the curriculum, which is great.

        Time management and efficiency are definitely key. There will be a LOT of info thrown at med students. DH compares it to trying to take a sip from a firehose.
