  • Hello

    Hi there,

Just found this site online and thought I would check it out. My husband is a neurosurgery resident, I work for a healthcare nonprofit, and we have a 3yr old daughter. My husband just started chief residency (last 2 years of residency) and is planning to do a 1yr fellowship after that. Meanwhile, we're thinking about having another baby... even though finances, space, and time are so limited. Would love to connect with others out there in similar situations.

Hi Lauren, there are at least a couple of other neurosurgery wives on the board here and all have had children in residency.

    Welcome!

I'm not a neuro-spouse (I'm psych) but I've had 2.5 kids during residency. I'm sure you'll find lots of folks who can relate.
