    Hello,

My name is John, and my wife is almost five weeks into her first year of medical school. We moved two hours away from home and quit our jobs so she could attend osteopathic medical school. She seems to like it, but it's so stressful and time-consuming to her.

I found a job that allows me to use my degree, and I'm enjoying it, while difficult. I also am trying to build up side businesses online and offline to allow other income streams that will assist in paying off the quarter million we will owe when she gets out.

Thanks for creating this community. I'll try to blend in now.

Welcome! Osteopathic here too. We moved 16 hours from home and are now in MS-3. This board is full of great people who can answer questions that no one else can and give it to you straight.

Welcome!! Not a DO spouse, but a spouse who gave up a good job and moved three hours away from a beloved city, family, and friends. We're MS-2 and it's difficult. I hear it's rewarding once you're on the other side but here stuck in the thick of medical school, it's hard to be positive sometimes
