  • Hi everyone!

Hi, I'm new to this site, and I am so happy I found it! I am a law student living in Philadelphia, living with my boyfriend of 2 years. He is in his transitional year at Presbyterian hospital in Philadelphia and will start his residency in anesthesiology this summer. Unfortunatly, none of my friend's SOs or DHs are doctors, so few people understand what life has been like. I unfortunately am not technologically savvy and a horrible speller, so please forgive any of my mistakes. But I hope to be a regular on this site pretty soon - after my finals are over. TTFN!

Welcome....it seems that your situation, as uncommon with your friends, is a popular one here, there are several atty/Dr combo's!!

Feel free to vent and shout, laugh and cry with the rest of us!

      Welcome,

I play a lawyer at work and DH is a fourth year surgery resident. Anytime you want me to extol the virtues of the dual career family, let me know.

      Seriously, welcome to the boards.

Thank you for all the nice "hellos"

Bf starts his residency in anestheisiolog at HUP (Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania) this summer. Hopefully things should calm down by that time. Supposedly he will only be on q8 in his program, but who knows how true that is. Things are kind of crazy right now. Last night he nearly got stabbed by a patient - a 90 pound woman w Hep C. It took him a while to calm down last night.
