      welcome..
      i'm married to physician. it's not her workload that bothers me--it's taking care of the kids and deciding what to do with the kids that's troublesome.

        I'm struggling with my kids as well at the moment. Just when we reach an even keel one of the three grows up, changes and chaos ensues again.

          Unfortunately a time will come when they no longer want you to take care of them and decide what to do. At 15 and 17, whenever mine still ask for my help, its a real treat.

          However, when they were younger, it was frustrating for me too; Once I had to sneak in to work on the weekend to catch up on a few things with two boys in tow; I would have been better off staying at home; while I was busy they entertained themselves by removing the keys from the keyholes in other people's desk drawers.
