Welcome, and congratulations on your wedding! NSG residency can be a roller coaster ride, but you've come to the right place!

I was fortunate enough to meet him his 3rd year of medical school in my hometown and he matched in my hometown, so no move yet. I'm very lucky in that respect!

Well that's awesome! How's residency / call? Do you work? My hubby is PGY4, ophtho. This summer he FINALLY went from primary to secondary call. It's amazing how a full / almost full night sleep can change a person!

If planning a wedding during PGY-1 didn't kill you, y'all are probably meant to last. Planning a wedding during MS-1 nearly killed us! But that's a sweet gig, being able to be in your own familiar location during residency.
