Newbie online

hello everyone. This is my first time ever posting a message on any type of forum. My name is syrita. I'm 25, mother to a perfect (almost) 6 month old girl, and wife to a second year medical student. we're living the beautiful struggle on the island of nevis. It's home to a luxurious four seasons resort, and not much else. It's been an adventure, but at times like these--yet another friday night of watching my overtaxed partner sleep after a grueling week of classes--I feel the intimacy we once had slip through our fingers like grains of sand. It can be discouraging to say the least. It's comforting to know that others are traveling down this road, and still others that have conquered. So that's why I'm here opening up to a virtual support group. So many of your stories resonate with me, I especially liked reading Theresa's entries, as she's a young married enjoying the tasks of motherhood, like myself.
