  • New and glad I found it

I'm dating a MS3 soon to be 4 and I've come to very important conclusion that you have to really love the person or it would so not be worth it. I'm working on my Ph.D. and I thought I didn't have a lot of free time, but my job is pretty much a cake walk compared to what he is going through. I spend most of my time oscillating between wishing we had more time together and feeling guilty that we are doing something fun when he should be studying. Hopefully I'll figure out how to deal with all this. I think this site is really going to be helpful.

Welcome, and glad you found us. What field is your Phd? It is a good thing to have your own "life" throughout this process.

      Hello and welcome.

I was once the girlfriend to an M3 and yup, you gotta love them because as hideous as medical school can be, everything that comes after is even suckier!!

      Come and post often!

Welcome to the group....the medical training years can be such a roller coaster! I met my dh when he was a med student...now we're already 4 years out of training.....at the time it felt like time was moving in slow motion....now when I look back I can't believe how quickly it all went by.
