    3 Months of Freedom Left

    Hi, I'm Sarah ... *waits for ya'll to reply, "hi Sarah"* ... and my husband (of 3 years), as of Friday afternoon is a first year medical student at Oregon Health & Science University. It's been a long road (as this is the second year he applied to school) and we're thrilled because OHSU is our #1 choice.

    We are both Oregon-natives, currently work for OHSU (he does research & I do Medicare billing) so it's a perfect fit for us. School starts in August, and as strange as this sounds, I can't wait to "lose" my husband to medical school. It's what he's always wanted and after I put up with the dozen years of school I'm going to make a great doctor's wife (at least that's what my best friend tells me).

    I hope to become an active memeber here at iMSN and make a few new friends who truly understand where I am and what I'm going through. I have aLiveJournal and if you have one, I'll add you to it, if not, I'll just hope to get to know you around here!

          Hooray, congrats!!! OHSU was my husband's #1 for three years running.

          I'm alison_in_oh on LJ. Kind of a hodgepodge journal that I update sporadically about myriad subjects, but...I'm there!

            Ooooh! Thanks for the replies, ladies! I'm very thrilled to see them here! I thought I had my email preferences set to get notices, but apparently not! I'm going to go fix that now.

                Hahah, no, not yet. I fear I will be soon though ... now that I've fixed it to see responses.

                I really need to spend some more time playing around on the site & seeing what I can find on here. I'm still kinda overwhelemed by it, even though I'm a huge Internet geek!
