  • Hello All!!!...so glad to be here

Hi All! My dh is MS3 and we just moved from Kansas City to Southern New Jersey for him to do 3rd and 4th year rotations. Time is flying but sometimes I want it to go faster, lol! We are older for med school, me 36 and dh 33 and we have a son who just turned 1. It is way more expensive here so we are having to borrow more money, boohoo! Look forward to getting to know you all and sharing in your experiences.

Hi. Welcome! It sounds like the locals can help you learn your way around NJ.

Thanks for the warm welcome! We live in Voorhees NJ (856) area code and dh is technically affiliated UMDNJ-Stratford but is doing his rotations around the area. He is doing Psychiatry at Kennedy Hospital in Cherry Hill and I think he is doing EM in Camden but I can't remember. Oh yes, the "jug handles"--didn't realize that is what they are called...I think I call them "the right thing to turn left", LOL!

For the once KC folks, any chance your SO went to KCUMB (formally UHS)?...

                        Welcome to the boards!

We are from the KC area too, no schooling-per se, but DW did her residency at Children's Mercy. We are now living in Florida...big change.

                        Post away, and welcome again!
