Email subscription notifications

I keep trying to update my setting so I don't get email notifications for every single thread I reply to, but nothing seems to work. Can someone tell me exactly which settings I should be changing?

Did you ever get a response to this? I found it hard to drill down to the right page, but try: in the small bar under the "Forum/Blogs/LiveWall" tabs you'll see "New Posts/Private Messages/.../Forum Actions" links. Click on Forum Actions to get a sub-menu including "General Settings" and click on that. This should have a page with lots of settings to establish, including under the Messaging & Notification sub-section, "Default Thread Subscription Mode." Mine is set to "Through my control panel only" and I don't get email. Hope that helps!

I had found that page and updated my subscription settings to "through my control panel", but it didn't seem like it worked. I just looked at my subscriptions, though, and it looks like it doesn't retroactively change the setting on old posts. I updated them manually, so hopefully that will take care of it! Thanks!
