  • She's In!

I'm posting this here b/c I'm sure it will end up a debate!

    http://www.hillaryclinton.com/

I don't think anyone doubted she would, but I wonder if Obama's announcement earlier this week pushed up her decision.

:> Well yes, DUH is a good word for it. But I wonder if she had planned to announce this early or felt like she had to b/c of Obama.

        Yup I agree Tara.

Here are two articles I've found on Obama smearing...it looks like it's going to get ugly!

This one's from a conservative org:

        And a liberal one:

            My prediction:

Hillary/Obama ticket on the Dem side.

Romney/Rice ticket on the Republican side.

A Clinton/Obama ticket would make me soooo happy! All the positives with no John Edwards unpleasantness. I am truly excited about this, and I hope it happens. It's like a dream.

As far as the Republican side, I hope they choose Romney/Rice, because I don't think they can win.

The republicans won't nominate Romney/Rice, I know all you democrats would like it, but it ain't gonna happen.

There's no way Rice could get the nomination. She's alienated way too many people on the Republican side of the house.

As for Hilary, I think it had more to do with stealing the thunder of Brownbeck (R-KS) (who is a legitimate contender if people would get to know him) than anything to do with Obama. Obama will be fine on his own.

and no, it won't be a Clinton/Obama ticket. It will be a Clinton/Bayh ticket.

SCAR-EY! Brownbeck makes Bush look neglectful of the Christian right.

                              Evan Bayh.....

If you want somebody who stands for basically nothing (so that he doesn't offend anyone) then I guess he is your guy.

I have met him twice (sang at the gov's mansion when I was in college, and he and Susan fixed us hot chocolate afterwards, and he came to my classroom during my second year of teaching) and he is personable but very very bland. Maybe that is good for a VP, but it would take more than bland for me to stomach Hillary.
