  • What's for dinner?

That's about all the debate I can handle today-

Grilled cheese vs. homemade McMuffin vs. reheated Super Easy Indian Chicken and microwave rice (bless those who have invented the microwave bag of frozen rice)

We just ate a Marie Callender's crock-pot meal.....Chicken and Dumplings. My boys gagged on the dumplings. But I enjoyed the smell of it simmering all afternoon, and it wasn't too bad, although a little salty. It is bone-chilling cold here, so it was a perfect meal to combat that.

frozen pizza warmed in the toaster oven, and orange quarters here. Oh and the boy had some cold canned corn.

A pint of Ben & Jerry's half baked ice cream I'm purging my house of all unhealthy (i.e. delicious) items before DH and I start a diet tomorrow. Just doing my part for the health of the household.

                  recipe please.

here the older child just sneezed a huge sneeze leaving remnants running down to his mouth. he said "Mom! That ran down to my mouth and I ate some. Delicious!"

Clearly my cooking doesn't have much competition here.

I love me some shrimp and grits. I think we forgot to get greens to go with it. Maybe she'll make it again in a few days.

At least he is easy to please?

Grilled salmon with ginger marinade, risotto and green salad. And Sourdough bread. My son ate half a loaf.

grits? really? I thought that way primarily a southern dish.

I shouldn't be so "icky" as I've never actually tried them .... but it's just never sounded appealing. And I've never heard them paired w/shrimp.

We went with the thawed out Super Easy Indian Chicken with the microwave rice.

Dairy Boy had milk, cheese, yogurt and approximately two rice kernals.
