Homeschooling

It just strikes me as odd that some think the only people who should be teaching their kids are those working in the schools.

or...that the only people should be teaching their kids are only the parents in the home (no offense to the homeschoolers here).

We do german, math and and a lot of other things with our children to supplement what our kids are doing at school. I do think that my children benefit from what their teachers offer. It is one of the reasons that I have really straddled the fence about homeschooling.....I just don't have the imagination, technology, etc to do some of the fascinating things that they have done at school...

Maybe...a combination of both approaches is the best happy medium?
