    I don't have a problem with declawing.

    We shoe horses, cut tails off of dogs, neuter cats, dogs, and farm animals, eat animals...

    Cats have it pretty good in most homes. Free food, place to sleep, vet care..etc.

    Disclaimer: I like cats but am severly allergic, love dogs more, and have several scars on my writs/hands/face from the family cat growing up.
