This is not an effective way to voice opposition to the war. You just look foolish and childish--and weak. The only way you can "defeat" your opposition is to exclude them from participating in the dialogue? To wipe away their immediate presence?
Whenever I see Code Pink, I well up with pride in my country. In many--even most--countries on earth, objectors to government policy would have no ability to express their dissent. Code Pink has this liberty, because people like the Marines are willing to die for that ideal. The Marines are "unwelcome"? Ladies, try a world without them. I don't think they can see the very irony of their position. They just end up looking like a bunch of hysterical, screaming little girls who got their pig-tails pulled. In the face of men and women ready to sacrifice their lives for the cause of liberty? You do NOT have to look naive, shrill, petty, and unappreciative to object to the war.
