I saw her comments and, frankly, thought they were a little oddly worded and I knew that they would result in big headlines. I doubt she meant them quite the way they're being played.
On a different matter: she's been absolutely excoriated recently by certain feminists because of her decision to scale back her professional life (essentially no longer working) to help her husband. Oh, come on!! Her husband is running for President! I hardly think that setting aside her own professional aspirations--probably for the short-term--to support him makes her an antiquated throwback to pre-feminism. This is the man she married and quite clearly adores and cherishes. Their marriage, by all accounts, appears to be a loving, genuine partnership. This is what loving partners do for each other. Geez.
