  • Grand New Party

Has anyone read this or have it in the queue? I heard the authors interviewed on Fresh Air yesterday afternoon and it sounds intriguing. I was in and out of the car for errands so only caught snippets.

This is attempt #523 to post this. I'll try to edit w/ author's names and link to the interview. The amazon reviews are love/hate (surprise surprise for a political book ). Also noticed on amazon, the book is a reasonable length at 250 or so pages upping my chances of reading it.

eta, link to the interview and a better synopsis than I could write:

    I'm not surprised by this.

As it is the Republicans are the liberal party, the Libertarians are the conservative party and the Democrats have gone off the deep-end into Socialism. We have a strong liberal party (Republicans), a strong socialist party (Democrats), and a weak conservative party (Libertarians).
