Re: Palin's Speech
What baffles me over Obama's pick with Biden is (in Obama's exact words)
"I recognize there is a certain presumptuousness in this, a certain audacity, to this announcement. I know that I haven't spent a lot of time learning the ways of Washington, but I've been there long enough to know that the ways of Washington must change. People who love their country can change it." ~Barack Obama
So why choose a senator who has been in politics for 36 years, and hasn't done anything in the way of reform in Washington or calling his fellow senatorial or congressional colleagues to task for illegal or unethical behavior?
I feel like Obama is just like any other politician in Washington speaking from his elitist silver forked tongue, and talking out of both sides of his mouth. :| Unfortunately, I feel like that about the two major candidates.
I have a friend who knew Barack Obama when she grew up with him in Hawaii. Pretty interesting comments she had to say about him.
