    That's right -

NV (or No Vote) IS recorded in US Senate votes.

Obama has quite a few of those NV's:

Of course, that is beside the point. What did Senator Obama do to attempt to stop the current economic conditions? Did he vote on or introduce any legislation that would have made a substantial difference? And, that's a serious question.

Keith Olbermann is an awful excuse for a person. The guy is slime.

Well, according to Dodd, Sen. Obama has been in frequent contact throughout the crisis but today was the first day that he's heard from 'John'. His friend, "John." In fact, Sen Dodd was glad that Sen McCain finally contacted them.

Go to the link above and scroll down to "Housing and Property Issues". EVERY SINGLE VOTE he could have made was an NV (NO VOTE). Every single one.

MOST of the "Welfare and Poverty Issues" he could have voted on were, again, a NO VOTE.

The guy has no ground to stand on. He's done nothing to help the situation.

Oh no, you can call out my husband's Patriotism, call me a left wing nut job and cast aspersions upon my person but you cannot throw stones at KO.

He's Hawt. Just listen. He's funny, he's good looking and he's 95% right.

PS- you're just jealous because you guys have nada- not even Tucker anymore. I mean, sure Tucker is 'cute' but only in that semi "ew, aren't you one of my brother's friends?" kinda way.

Oh, I have no doubt that the Democratic chairman of the bailout hearings would say something like that. Now, as to if it is true, well, he IS a politician (like the rest of them - McCain included).

In other words, I take that with a LARGE grain of salt.

                Re: But- postpone the debates?

How many of those no votes have been while he was campaigning though? I would bet McCain and a lot of the other presidential candidates have just as many.

No one is going to know who agreed to what regarding the debate on that phone except the two men that were on it, the press can conjecture all they want.

The debates should go on and I think it was a bad idea to suggest that they get postponed in the first place.

Oh, I can't stand any of those guys - no matter what ideas they espouse. And, Tucker looks creepy to me.

But, I really put Olbermann at the bottom of the heap. He's ugly, he's usually wrong, and he's not funny - he's smarmy, bitter, and hateful.

Here's McCain's voting record as well:

                    http://www.votesmart.org/voting_categor ... n_id=53270

And, sure enough, you're right that the man also has a TON of NV's as well.

Good grief. I wish I had a candidate to vote for. This is insane.

                      OK- I'll concede:

Tucker is creepy. and George is compensating.

We're just going to have to agree to disagree on the KO thing.

But, yes, Tucker is creepy. The bowtie really does him in. And, can't he afford a haircut that doesn't look like Prince Valiant?

Come on now, he's paying more for that hair cut than we can in our home town, on purpose, including dye jobs.

That's the "I'm still a preppy college dude haircut." (even though he probably has more wrinkle cream than I do.)

The difference is that is the ONLY record Obama has. Just like who else, Paylin anyone? This NV has bothered me too. I'd like to figure out what the guy is for and actually against, but then McCain is retracting past real Maverick days, so who do you believe?...

I *LOVE* Tucker! Not for his looks but his shows always were more balanced than most. He always round tabled with Dems and Reps, he can be condescending at times but he's thoughtful even when he shows his opinion. I watched him when he was on PBS, was sad when he was canned, then watched him on MSNBC, then got he got canned there. :fight: I don't agree with him on all things, but I thought he was more balanced than the other shows.

Though I'm kinda liking Lou Dobbs, once I get passed his HUGE ego. But then he can be very irritating too....
