Re: The Terrorist Barack Hussein Obama

    Oh, you'll find crazies everywhere.

For instance, Bill Ayers' girlfriend died building a bomb intended to kill as many people as possible.

And, unfortunately, racism and bigotry exist in all races and cultures. I got to see a bit of that first-hand with Romney running for the Republican slot this year.

But, making up the news is really stretching it. And, we seem to be going off into that territory.

Oh, and anyone can design a disgusting ad - including supporters wanting to drum up horror. Who is claiming to be behind that particular ad? If it's the KKK then that's a story. If it's just anonymous - well, who's to say it wasn't an Obama supporter wanting to demonize the opposition? Stranger things have happened in politics.

I don't see the finding that someone yelled "Tell him!" and it was misinterpretted as "Kill him" makiing up the news. I didn't read your link but I'm assuming the finding of the secret service investigation was the same in each article. I read that they reviewed the tapes and that "Tell him" was yelled and misinterpretted by the reporter. I'm sure the Secret Service is working overtime.

It was this Libertarian blogger. If he's trying to support Obama, he's going about it in kind of an unusual way.

Here's the text that originally ran with it:
It seems that there are some on the left, who seem to think that it is cute to make graphics about punching Sarah Palin in the Mouth.

It also seems that some think it is cute to make bumper stickers saying, “Abort Sarah Palin”. On the other hand, I did scold John McCain a bit for whipping his crowds up in to the frenzy and then confronted with the more ugly aspects of that frenzy, he sought to quell it.

However, it seems that there are those on the left, who want to turn this into an ugly election about race. I say, let us give them what they want. Seeing Obama’s Black friends are trying to compare John McCain to a highly racist Alabama Governor from the 1960’s.

They want racism? It does seem that way. Since the left wants to make nasty drawings of violence towards women, I figure it is only fair to do this.

I originally made this graphic a while back when this issue raised it’s ugly head before, but I quickly pulled it, because I felt I would be adding to the poison of the situation. But it has become clear that the left is not interested in running an honorable campaign, so, I think it is time to fight fire, with fire.
I'm not saying that the campaigns are to be held directly responsible for their supporters' actions (though I'd like to see at least a little more condemnation from on high.) But to deny completely that there are people out there with murderous words toward Obama, by implying that the "Kill Him" words never left *one* specific person's mouth, well that just seems silly.

I didn't read all of the responses, and I think the thread may have taken another turn, but I wanted to comment that the people I work with are buying into the "terrorist" idea.

I was told today that "Obama is the antichrist" and that "we can't say President Obama because it's too ethnic" and then not related to the terrorist thing "if you vote for Obama you can kiss your job goodbye because I won't be able to afford to pay you" and "why can't Huckabee still be in it, I want to vote for him."

Nothing was mentioned about any platforms, or even traditional party standings....it was like voting for President is the same as voting in the office football pool....picking your "team" based on (uniform) color.

I just feel so out of place in this area!!! Even the "educated" doctors aren't discussing issues....just the bs fluff stuff. (Not that I in anyway can be considered in the know about politics...but at least my reasons for voting one way are based on my general beliefs on abortion, government programs/intervention, environment and war/military stuff.)

I agree! This is driving me crazy, too! As far as I can tell, the most vocal Obama supporter in our office is voting for him solely on the fact that he's a good public speaker. When I pointed that out to him and asked about the issues, he said all he cares about is how we "look" to the rest of the world. I guess that's what having the right to vote is all about...
