    Re: Just say "No" to...ego

Did anyone seem him compare himself to Ghandi on the Today show this morning?

Matt Lauer could hardly keep a straight face while introducing the story. Now the nutjob is boycotting his impeachment trial. Not sure what will be accomplished by that.

Other than to be impeached faster...not really a bad thing! What a nut.

How crazy do you have to be to challenge Matt Lauer's ability to not laugh at your insanity!? I mean, he survived the Tom "I know about Psychiatry" Cruise! I bet, in all his dreams, he never thought he interview anyone less in touch with reality than that...

Last night Yahoo! had a clip on their home page from an interview with Diane Sawyer. I giggled through all 9 minutes of it because he did not answer ONE of her questions. He is a riot (unless you are from IL - and then it must not be so pretty).

Did you hear that he refused to let the sytlists from The View touch "the Hair"- funny! Then we'd all know for sure what small animals died to cover his head.

He was on the evening news blah-blah-blahing. He LOVES attention, and at one point asked reporters if they'll be coming back to his place to talk to him. One of the reporters said: "if you give us something to report!"

I bet this next guy will turn out to be a crook. Let's make it 3 for 3. What a national embarrassment.

I have this theory...he is a total crook and he knows he is about to go down on the federal charges. That's why he wouldn't come to the impeachment during the taking of evidence--he would have to be sworn-in, under oath, and would be subject to perjury and might have to assert the 5th (which would not look good). But, if he just showed up on the last day, only for closing arguments (which are non-evidentiary), he would not have to be sworn-in--so he could get up there and conceivably blabber and blather, unless someone put a stop to it as a breach of procedure. All without having to testify.

Does this sound like I am giving him too much credit for thinking it out? (I may not even be right--I don't practice criminal law--if I'm wrong, just set me straight...but I can't think of any other REAL reason not to show up and give evidence in your defense!)
