I think that basically every celebrity and their dog was asked by the media what they thought of the whole Taylor Swift/Kanye West uproar.

I can see exactly why he commented... everyone was.

That being said, I think being required to be perfect 24/7 is a little much to ask - he is human - he is going to probably say things he shouldn't.

I actually laughed at his comment. If the Prime Minister of Canada said the same thing, I would have laughed the same way... he's a person - it is nice to have a president behave like a person, and not in a way that makes him holier than though. This is just my opinion of what I would like to see in a president.. but I am El Canadiana so I don't have much of a say

I see nothing wrong with the comment at all.
And as far as "big bro" & the media goes, if you don't want it repeated don't say it! That goes for anyone not just those who hold highly ranked positions...

Try being a white conservative in St. Louis. It's pretty much a given. That's just how people understand conservatives here--we hate black people.

Of course, I just bite my tongue when it's my rich, liberal, white people who send their kids to super-exclusive, most white/token minority schools who accuse conservatives of being elitest.

Same arguement could be made for being a liberal in Johnson County, KS. I spent the first 3 years of my life here being "flaky and unpatriotic".
