Sadly since we moved to the midwest I have started shopping at Walmart again. I had decided to quit shopping there when we lived in the west and had other choices for cheap groceries and Target was easy to get to. Now Walmart is way cheaper than the other grocery stores, we don't have a super Target. The Target here is also located in the mall and since there isn't much else around, the mall is always super busy. I try to watch the other grocery stores ads and shop there when they have good deals, but for the most part I get groceries at Walmart and I hate it.

I actually know several people that work for Target both in the stores and the corporate office and they have no complaints. Good pay, good benefits, and good flexibility for moms with kids.

I worked for Target Corp in high school, before they sold off Mervyn's, the store where I actually worked. They seemed fine, at least as fine as any big corp. I assume that in terms of product sourcing and whatnot, though, they aren't much different.

LOL. I know the opposite from 2 people here. They were both moms and were working in order to have health insurance for their families. Target started cutting hours for full-timers, hiring part-timers for less benefits etc. Both women ended up leaving because their benefits were watered down and became more expensive.

          Surprising with target Corp here.
