So...we all know that Florida is a fabulous retirement destination. Who wouldn't want to spent their golden years escaping the snow and enjoying the sun?
What about the rest of us though who either are tied to a local area through our children or don't have the financial means to jump ship for Florida?
Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson has pushed it to make sure that the 3 biggest democratic supporting counties in Florida will be exempt from any cuts that come to the Medicare Advantage program...does that seem right? John McCain tried to fight for this as a national issue and wanted to protect every senior...that didn't fly. How is it that Florida's seniors will be protected, but you and I will not be? What does this say about more cuts coming to the medicare program in general?
I'm genuinely curious about opinions or other information that might put this in a light that makes more sense to me.

LOL ) Obama agreed with John McCain at the Health Care Summit that this was unfair and then he took steps this week to make sure that it was removed from all version of the HCR bills. Go Obama!
