I always figure that when either side has to go back to high school type stuff then they clearly have nothing useful or intelligent to say.

It's her own fault...she blathered on & on about it as an ADULT when she was doing a gig as a conservative talking head ON a TV show. She apparently has other doozies waiting to come out. Seriously who goes on national TV and airs their skeletons shamelessly?Well besides the LiLo & Paris types?

On a tv show anchored by a man so liberal he makes Hussey look like a devout Cheney worshipper. Any " jokes" about witchcraft aside, I think babbling about it, as an adult, on such a show, shows a huge lack of judgement.

No kidding. She doesn't appear to be the brightest bulb on the string.

I need to figure out who the heck she is first. I hate following politics. If election coverage starts as early as it did for the 2008 election, I'm going to scream.

Let it be known I voted for the other guy. I think she's a loose cannon and there is a lot of documentation about her inability to handle her personal and campaign finances. I certainly do not want her representing my interests in Washington come January.

I'm cracking up at the reference to Hussy digging Cheney!

My thoughts were not about her past issues, just that they were going all the way back to high school. I really didn't even pay attention to the issues, just the high school part!!!! If I had to account for some of the high school / college stuff I did, I would be in big trouble!

But, high school is pretty silly.
                      100% agree.

This gal is a goof for bringing it up as an adult, though. On TV, no less. And this is hilarious.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I find it hilarious that her chosen crusade in the 90's was against self-love.

I think that most of the dust-up is on a national basis; it doesn't seem to be a local (ie, Delaware) driven story. I really don't understand why liberal talking heads are interested in this on a national level. She's highly unlikely to win. She's between 11 and 15 points down in the polls in a very moderate state. By discussing her self-admitted odd high school behavior, they are just making themselves look petty. Really? This is what you want to make hay about? She's done and said other things in her adult life, that would make better, more relevant fodder. If I were the Dems, I would keep my mouth shut and let her sink herself.

She strikes me as a Palin knockoff. But without the winking and eyeglasses.

But I don't care if she loses. The last thing I want is for the Republicans to take both Houses. I'd rather have complete gridlock than to listen to Obama switch from the perpetual whining about Bush to perpetual whining about Congress. Nothing is ever his fault, and we should all be glad that he condescends to share with us his moral superiority in the form of "teachable moments." Ugh. I don't want to give him anything that might help to get him re-elected. I can't stand him a LOT more than I can't stand the Senate. He's so awful. I wasn't a big Bush fan, but I seriously miss him. Hell, at this point, I miss Bill Clinton. Too much more of this, and I'll miss CARTER.

She was on Hannity last night to defend her financial choices and to also whine about how the national media attention she is receiving is reducing the local media attention she could be getting. Uh, yeah, there isn't much local media attention to be had here. This is about as good as it gets: http://blogs.delawareonline.com/dialoguedelaware/ (if you go to the second most recent entry, you can see the clips of her on Hannity).

I think she is getting attention because of this and because nobody really thought that Republicans in Joe Biden's state would select a candidate that leans so far to the right.
