This is probably more gossipy than debatey, but one of dh's colleagues worked at a hotel in Minneapolis before med school. Years ago he told us about a couple of visits to the hotel by Travolta and how freaked out he was that Travolta hit on him. (This doc is not gay and is married with 3 children now.). He swore up and down that Travolta wasn't straight but no one has taken him very seriously.

When the news started breaking about this stuff, he started to feel vindicated ....

A civil lawsuit was filed against naming two gentlemen as plaintiffs, who allege that Mr. Travolta sexually assaulted them (via improper groping and exposure) during massage sessions that they were providing to him as a professional service. The weirdness continues. John Doe #1 (the first of the plaintiffs) was dropped by his counsel, and has now hired Gloria Allred, the truly detestable mouthpiece who fashions herself as some sort of feminist crusader, but is really just about creating limelight for herself. Yeah, she should bring some legitimacy to this mess.

nor sexually harassing peeps who just need/ want to do their jobs w/ out being molested or having to witness him masturbating! Definitely more victims than just the spouse. The pathetic part is that they (His peeps I'm sure) started putting out stories featuring his wife Kelly sharing how she got through the grieving period of their deceased son through " painful memory erasing " provided by the good folks of their Scientology church.
