tangent of the Anonymous thread

I have spent more time than I care to admit reading about the Steubenville rape and all the nasty details. In fact, I wish I could sort of "unlearn" about it. It reminds me how toxic this world is that we raise our children in.

Anyway, when I was poking around on the wild weird world of the internet, I found some interesting conspiracy theories regarding Anonymous. The other thread merits a respectful discussion without this fanciful tangent. Nonetheless, I thought it was interesting enough to start a new convo. Put on your tin foil hats and step out of your bomb shelters:

I'm pretty sure that Anonymous killed JFK and Julian Assange was the patsy.

This also lead me to some of the 911 Truth websites. All jesting aside, there really ARE some strange inconsistencies.

Clearly, I need to step outside of iMSN occasionally and see the wild, weird internet world for what it is.

Back in college DH and watched an interesting video about 9/11 that claimed it could have been some sort of an inside job but didn't concretely point any fingers. I don't remember many details about it. But it never claimed it didn't happen. I'm skeptical at best, but there were some interesting arguments

I fully believe many, many innocent lives were lost on 9/11. I also believe that the official story has huge holes in it- holes big enough to make the official version of events false.

I agree with you Rapunzel. I don't think that the Government willfully set the attack up, but there are enough weird factors to wonder if there was willful incompetence that allowed the events to unfold this way.

Typically, I'm not one to jump on the conspiracy band wagons, but there is a mountain of compelling evidence that everything wasn't as it appeared in the official version.
