This theory from a pilot's point of view is making the rounds on facebook this morning. It seems feasible.

The Indian Ocean is one of the most difficult places to find it plus they started late looking in that area.

They waited 10 days to begin searching the Indian Ocean which is incredibly vast and unpopulated. The debris is probably ridiculously scattered at this point.

Objects spotted may be from missing plane

There is going to be an announcement from the Australian PM soon. I have a good feeling they're getting closer to finding it in the South Indian Ocean. It's like that game hot and cold and they're getting hotter.

They released the images of the objects and they say they think it's a wing and a fuselage. The Australian's requested a Norweign ship within proximity to reroute there as everyone was days away and the parts were a wash. The ship arrived on site searching for the debris field along with a plane but weather was not permitting desirable conditions and they did not find it. They will continue tomorrow in the day searching and more people will arrive to help. Satillites have been rerouted to search the area too along with submarines.

I think if they keep looking they're going to find it here. Some parts of this area of the ocean are not so deep while other parts are which could make recovery either easy or more difficult. I wonder how long things float?

I think this is the most plausible theory so far.
I'm getting sick of the character assassinations on the pilot and co-pilot with absolutely no evidence. Of course it's acceptable since they put allegedly before it.

Hi! I just want to say what's happened is really sad guys. Keep looking in the South Indian Ocean. It's there guys. Don't give up hope. I know it's sunk and it's the most remote part of the world to search for a missing plane wreckage. It's alright to let the Chinese take over the search. They want to in fact. Even if the search takes two years it's going to be found there. I send my best wishes in the recovery and the mystery of this plane to be solved and for peace to be found in the hearts of the families involved. The entire world is thinking of you all. Sending much love and requesting a world prayer chain for the recovery of flight 370. <3 Let the truth be known and the recovery be safe and soon.

It's been confirmed by Malaysian officials that flight 370 crashed in the South Indian Ocean. The Australian, Chinese and French have all spotted large debris via satellite and small debris via eye sight by airplanes search and rescue. No ships with recovery capabilities have reach there yet and when other ships do get there they either don't see it or try to keep an eye on it.

Based on the sightings it's a massive debris field in a low visibility area known as the roaring 40's where the waves have 10 feet swells normally. After 2 weeks it's scattered to the four winds. Plus according to this report several agencies combined to do something they've never done before and they've analyzed the latest satellite data tracing the flight to it's last known location into the South Indian Ocean. Which is where they've been searching and spotting debris. LINK

I'm so thankful the families have some answers now. It's still a search and rescue operation and they're racing against time in the last two weeks before the battery runs out on the black box pings.

I hope so too. It may be better that it will take so long to recover the wreckage. Since there's virtually no chance of recovering bodies, it may be easier for families not to know what exactly happened until they begin to heal. It was almost two years for the Air France wreckage. The thought is so horrific, I'd rather not know.

The dramatic video of the families responses such as crying, wailing, lashing out, protesting - all of it - has been incredibly sad to witness their grief process. Even though I can't understand what they're saying as they're being carried away I still can get it how traumatizing this has been for them. From those first chilling images in the airport when they learned the flight was missing until now.

A Chinese ship has detected a pulse of the exact frequency of the flight data recorder in the South Indian Ocean. LINK

They marked the longitude and latitude where they detected the pulse in the event that the battery runs out since it's been nearly 30 days. They can hear it they just can't confirm that it's the Malaysian plane yet and the US and Australia can't confirm the results yet either. There is also debris in this area that they have yet to confirm is related to the missing plane. Crossing my fingers and toes that this is it and they find it and can confirm everything soon.
