Medicare to Release Billing Data for 880K Doctors

It's just Medicare patients. And weird because none of DHs surgeries are on it. Mostly office stuff.

Yeah. Office address is wrong. Not one surgery like a knee replacement to be found.

DH's was very similar, no surgeries - so what is the point if its so incomplete?

Just ran the actual number. Payment was actually 116,585

58,027 was clinic - close to that number, but there are hospital E&M codes included.

Fucked up.

And if its incomplete but there is still a doc making $18M what does that say?

It had pay for H in Rochester. He didn't even hold a MN license in 2012. Is this 2012- present?

So I searched the 4 neurosurgeons here that I know, 3 are in DH's group, 1 isn't. It has the same street address for all 4 - um, no and all of their numbers are about the same. This is WAY off! I wonder if the Washington Post wrote their own interface to mine the data and if someone else does the same if the numbers will be different?? Weird!

I don't get the numbers and I cannot get them to reconcile at all with what was actually earned.

So, I just pulled the data on Dr. V and sure enough the only codes listed are the ones that show on the Washington Post query. Stupid, seeing as how that doesn't even begin to show what he actually got paid.
