Regardless of veracity, the idea is very fifty shades of grey. Life imitating art? It's interesting that it's OK since she's pretty, educated and somewhat affluent. I wonder how it would be perceived if she admitted openly being sexually abused as a child?
I don't agree with legalizing prostitution. As a culture I think we need to work towards healing women, and giving them back their dignity, not selling and taxing it. It's a free choice...to a point. I could never look at a poor, abused woman doing the only thing available to her and tell her it's 100% free choice. Same thing with porn. Most of those people have been abused, physically, sexually or emotionally. Their bodies may be grown up, but inside they're not. Somethings broken that needs fixing not exploitation.
