    And this is precisely why my kids will not go to my SIL if hubby and I both die. I don't know exactly when she started her kids on meds, but it was way younger than I felt necessary.

      Isn't ADHD kind of a normal state for a toddler?

            Yes, it's very developmentally appropriate except for a very small number of kids. The other really disturbing thing is that the rate is much higher in Medicaid patients - not sure what's going on there (there's a lot of possible explanations) but all of them are very sad.

                The thought of a toddler dealing with hallucinations but not being able to explain or express themselves about it really disturbs me
